Google Has Gone WAY Too Far And They Must Be Stopped

 

Oh for fuck's sake. I just asked Google a simple question about hanging a birdbath from the porch. I got the most useless and bizarre results. I scrolled for three pages in utter confusion...then I remembered the announcement in the tech pages for the changeover today: Google Search is ALL AI now. Wow, Google. Really? I really doubt anyone asked for this. I wonder what's going on this morning in the offices of the millions of MarTech SEO experts...oof. 

 

The "ALL AI" Search is bad enough. But did you see, Google is now monitoring all our stuff? In the Google "Privacy" setting, it allows you to compare the last Privacy agreement to the current one. There it is, highlighted in green. The line they think is okay...where it says THEY ARE NOW MONITORING LITERALLY EVERYTHING starting today. 

 

 

 The balls on them. ARRRRGH, WHO ASKED FOR THIS! I am going to lodge a complaint every single day. I only have one hand to type with, nay, one finger, really, but damn it, they are going to hear about this. UNACCEPTABLE. 

 

There'd better be a way to turn these "features" off, dammit. If there's not, how the hell am I going to untangle my whole life from these people? This blog is on the Google Blogger platform. I have Gmail. Google Docs. Google Calendar. Who the hell said "I want Google to monitor every detail of my life, thanks."

 

Damn, I had a lot of stuff I was going to do today. Instead I have to figure this shit out.
